My first piano teacher was my Dad.

He taught me to play a short section of the Beethoven Pathetique Sonata.

Thanks Dad!

After earning a Bachelors degree in music composition from Oberlin Conservatory and a Masters degree in piano performance from the University of Colorado, I moved to Vermont in

2004 and began teaching piano full time. I've also worked as an accompanist at the Lake Champlain Waldorf School since 2006.

I divide my time between teaching, accompanying and composing.

I also love to hike and ski in the beautiful mountains of New England with my wife Kirsten and my son Leif.
